Practical Nelly's stand at the end of the line

Sigh... this is another house search blog....

I'm still looking for a room, I really want a room close to the university and my work. So Amsterdam east around Weesperstraat, Valckenierstraat and the Nieuwe Kerkstraat are good choises. Heck, they're the best possible choises !

People are busting my bubble by saying that I have to look for Diemen or far places as well. It might not be practical but at least you will have a room.
Yeah sure, diemen... WTF... I have no friends, no family, no school, no work in God-forsaken-middle-of-nowhere DIEMEN ! It's not even in AMsterdam.

How do I go about? Take the subaway, Take your bike...
What if I decide to go out? the metro's dont move 24/7 you know...
Take the nightbuss... yeah hell no that's quite expensive if you do it alot..

So back to the search, I'm using kamernet, that sucks because they mostely offer rooms where you have to share your kitchen,livingroom and bathroom. I don;t like that, I'm looking for an independent room.

So I decided that Studenten woningweb and Woningnet are much better. And they are !
However your chances are better when you are a long time member and I'm not!
So that's not my total saviour, I'm keeping my hopes up though...
