So I saw the episode of the wedding yesterday, and I was really surprised that they pulled an entire wedding out of thin air in just nine days !

as you can see you have everything in the container livingroom/bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a balcony, unless you live at groundlevel , those people have a small garden !

Electricity/water/internet whatever are included in the rent price and I can ask for a rent discount (huur toeslag) up to 100 euros.

It looks like crap But i'm looking beyond that, use your creativity and see the possibilities.

Miami gift

I can't imagine what the parents are going through, they were so desparate, while their child was all along in the same street.

To me it's extra weird because my sister in law lives like two doors from the Boele family. She didn't knew them, before. But my point is that I know the street and the gardens and I'm seeing a scenario of what might have happened... so damn sad.

It's worse because she was almost next door. however worser is the fact that the purpetrator is an 26 year old cop. You should be able to trust the police. What's going on guys?

We have all seen it before. Beautiful homes in magazines that look crisp as hell ( like nobody is living there). To make it extra sophisticated owners usally throw some books or nifty magazines on the coffee table to show their intellect.
Or maybe you have relatives of friends who do the same thing. You might even be doing it !

I also collect magazines< normally I put them in my closet or in a box. However this table is a fun solution to show and at the same time clean up your magazines.

It's called the vanity table and consists of nine rectangles to put your magazine in ! It even has a little storage shelf if you own more than nine magazines, which you do,obviously.

Wilfried van Winden

Well this is fun ! Architect Wilfried van Winden designed this building, it's actually a hotel consisting of 70 (!) little house shaped walls, you wouldn't say that it's a hotel if you walked by.

It's called the Inntell and is located in Zaandaam.
The shape of the houses are typical 'Zaanse' houses.

For the arty farties among us, if you take a good look at the blue house on the right, you might recognise it from a Monet painting !

I'm still looking for a room, I really want a room close to the university and my work. So Amsterdam east around Weesperstraat, Valckenierstraat and the Nieuwe Kerkstraat are good choises. Heck, they're the best possible choises !

People are busting my bubble by saying that I have to look for Diemen or far places as well. It might not be practical but at least you will have a room.
Yeah sure, diemen... WTF... I have no friends, no family, no school, no work in God-forsaken-middle-of-nowhere DIEMEN ! It's not even in AMsterdam.

How do I go about? Take the subaway, Take your bike...
What if I decide to go out? the metro's dont move 24/7 you know...
Take the nightbuss... yeah hell no that's quite expensive if you do it alot..

So back to the search, I'm using kamernet, that sucks because they mostely offer rooms where you have to share your kitchen,livingroom and bathroom. I don;t like that, I'm looking for an independent room.

So I decided that Studenten woningweb and Woningnet are much better. And they are !
However your chances are better when you are a long time member and I'm not!
So that's not my total saviour, I'm keeping my hopes up though...
